As we close out the summer, please be mindful that the staff is all back at school and that we want to be respectful and get them out on time.
To ensure that the pool is closing on time, all equipment must be returned by 7:55 and we are requesting that people follow the guidelines sent out earlier this summer: Bathrooms close 15 minutes prior to closing so they can be cleaned/sanitized. If these procedures are not adhered to, then we will need to blow the whistle to clear the pool at 7:50.
Thank you for your cooperation!

Announcement 5/21/24
We are very excited about the start of Summer 2024 at Five Oaks Pool! We wanted to pass along some important information in order for us to get off to a smooth start.
- Returning members (and new members that have received their ID cards) will need their ID card to enter the pool.
- New and returning members should take time to review the rules on the pool website here prior to opening. If you have children that are of the age to stay at the pool without adult supervision, this is especially important. We want to make sure that your children are safe and that the pool facility is kept clean. Children who do not comply with the guidelines will not be allowed to come without adult supervision and could receive a suspension, and we don't want that to happen.
- Swim Test: There is a swim test that every member and guest under the age of 14 must pass each year before going into water over their head (including the slide and diving board/deep well). We strongly encourage members to let their children get used to being back in the water before encouraging them to take the swim test. The swim test consists of:
- Treading water for 1 minute, then immediately swimming across the wide part of the pool (without touching the wall, bottom or lane line).
- The swim should be a strong swim (not slow, struggling or being vertical in the water). The swim test can only be attempted ONE TIME PER DAY.
- Parents are responsible for supervising their non-swimming children in the pool. This requires the parent to be in the pool with small children. Even if the child is using a floatation device, parents are required to be within arm's reach.
- At the start of the summer, we will be training new lifeguards and Cuda Cafe employees. When a guard is training, you will see an experienced guard paired up with them when they are in the guard chair. Please be patient with our Cuda Cafe staff as they learn the ropes during their first work experience.
- Guest fees are posted on the pool website here. We ONLY ACCEPT CASH - no credit cards. Please make sure that your guests are aware of this. Members MUST stay with guests the entire time the guests are at the pool. If the member leaves, the guest has to leave since the member is responsible for guests that they sign in.
- Glass & alcohol are not permitted on pool grounds.
- Lastly, new for this year, we will be closing all bathrooms 15 minutes prior to the pool closing to ensure our guards have enough time to clean them.
Announcement 5/17/24

And that’s a wrap on another Five Oaks Dive Team season. To say that I’m proud of these kids is an understatement.
They showed up to practice in June when the water was freezing and the air was cool 🥶, they showed up in the rain and waited out thunderstorms ⛈️, and they woke up early all summer to get on the boards before the pool opened😴.
They were rockstars. But more importantly, they were friends, had fun and were good to each other. We had such a great season and I hope the friendships formed last a lifetime. We also had quite a few divers finish in the top 10 for their age groups at championships yesterday and I couldn’t be prouder of the team!
